PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator capable of performing ventilation by oscillatory air pressure with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A ventilator relating to the invention discharges inner air in a ventilated space to the outside and supplies outer air from an external gas supply source to the inside of the ventilated space. The ventilator according to the invention comprises: a first piston mechanism that has a first cylinder and a first piston a second piston mechanism that has a second cylinder and a second piston and a drive mechanism that drives the first and second pistons so as to execute synchronized reciprocating movements. The first cylinder is provided with: a first valve allowing ventilation only in a direction from the gas supply source to the inside and a second valve allowing ventilation only in a direction from the inside to the ventilated space.
