A method for disinfection of a contaminated enclosed facility with microaerosol containing free radicals produced from an electrochemically-activated solution. In one embodiment of the invention the aerosol is produced from the EAS and air mixture at the air:EAS ratio (1-10):1 (by mass) with the droplets of &nlE10 &mum. This method is preferably performed by the atomization of the mixture with a vortex ejector nozzle with subsequent separation of coarsely dispersed particles.
