PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lysophospholipid composition having high fluidity sufficiently suitable for the filling in a soft capsule, a food composition and a pharmaceutical composition containing the lysophospholipid composition, and a method for producing the lysophospholipid composition.
SOLUTION: The phospholipid composition is a composition containing an egg-yolk lysophospholipid and a free fatty acid, wherein the total content of the egg-yolk lysophospholipid and the free fatty acid is &ge60% of the total amount of composition, the content of the egg-yolk lysophospholipid is 20-60% and that of the free fatty acid is 20-80%. The food composition contains the phospholipid composition, and the pharmaceutical composition contains the phospholipid composition. The method for producing the lysophospholipid composition includes a step to dissolve an egg-yolk lysophospholipid in an organic solvent, a step to dissolve a free fatty acid in the organic solvent, and a step to concentrate the solution under reduced pressure.
