An image detection system adapted to detect an image of a fundus of an eye of an animal is provided. The image detection system includes an image capture unit and a control unit electrically connected to the image capture unit. The image capture unit includes an image sensor and a lens disposed on the image sensor. The control unit adjusts a focal length of the lens according to at least one of an age, an myopia degree and a hyperpia degree, and an average distance between a lens and an retina of the kind of the animal, or according to a pre-storage focal length corresponding to the animal.
