PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double bearing reel capable of preventing loosening of a pinion gear.SOLUTION: A double bearing reel 100 comprises a reel body 2, a pinion gear 63, a first bearing member 11, a spool shaft 4, a spool 3, and a clutch mechanism 64. The first bearing member 11 supports an outer peripheral face of a first end part 63a on the pinion gear 63. The spool shaft 4 extends penetrating through the pinion gear. The state of the clutch mechanism 64 can be switched between a clutch off state and a clutch on state. The spool shaft 4 has a support part.
