<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful flying pest-controlling agent to be used by transpiration at room temperature, and to provide a method for efficiently controlling flying pests. <；P>；SOLUTION: The flying pest-controlling agent to be used by transpiration at room temperature including, preferably in separate holders respectively, as active ingredients, insecticidal ingredient(s) exhibiting insecticidal efficacy at room temperature and flying pest-repelling ingredients, and a method for controlling such flying pests using the agent are provided. In this agent, the insecticidal ingredient(s) is preferably one or more pyrethroid-based insecticidal ingredients selected from profluthrin, empenthrin, metofluthrin and transfluthrin； while the flying pest-repelling agents are preferably two or more kinds of essential oils selected from essential oils comprising jasmine oil, neroli oil, peppermint oil, bergamot oil, orange oil, geranium oil, petitgrain oil, lemon oil, citronella oil, lemon grass oil, cinnamon oil, eucalyptus oil and thyme oil, and compositional ingredient(s) thereof, or the compositional ingredients, and also preferably contains a plant extract as a flying pest-repelling efficacy-enhancing ingredient. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
