PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ingestion tool that can dissolve tablet ingredients in saliva for ingestion by holding the tool in the mouth even by a user like an infant who is unable to dissolve and ingest a tablet by holding it as is in the mouth.SOLUTION: This is an oral ingestion tool for ingesting tablet ingredients by dissolving it in saliva, including: a body part which is made of a soft material and which is for a user to hold and keep in the mouth a hollow storing part formed in the body part an opening part which makes the storing part communicate with the outside to make a tablet insertable into the storing part and a plurality of small holes which make the storing part communicate with the outside. The oral ingestion tool is a pacifier for making an infant to use. The body part is a nipple like part for the user to hold and keep in the mouth, and is configured to have: a base part for holding the body part a flange part that is formed integrally with the base part and that protrudes from the base part and a lid member that is attached to the base part and that opens/closes the opening.
