The present invention relates to radiopharmaceutical imaging of apoptosis and other forms of cell death. The invention provides PET imaging agents which target apoptotic cells selective binding to the aminophospholipid phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) which is exposed on the surface of apoptotic cells.
