PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sesame-like flavor reinforcing agent for reinforcing flavor such as feeling of just roasting, feeling of just grinding, and oil and fat feeling of sesame, to provide a flavor composition containing the reinforcing agent as the active ingredient, and to provide food and drink imparted with sesame-like flavor using the reinforcing agent or the flavor composition.

SOLUTION: This sesame-like flavor reinforcing agent comprises 3-mercapto-3-methylbutyl formate. The sesame-like flavor composition contains the sesame-like flavor reinforcing agent at a concentration range of 10-4to 102ppm.
