PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology to remove a ghost from an SLO image.SOLUTION: A ophthalmologic photographing apparatus includes a scanning system, a detection system, an image forming part 110, and an image composition part 123. The scanning system scans the ocular fundus of an eye to be examined with a light. The detection system detects a first polarization component and a second polarization component which are different from each other, of a return light of the light from the eye to be examined. The image forming part forms a first image based on a result of detection of the first polarization component, and a second image based on a result of detection of the second polarization component.
