The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising quercetin-3-O-glucoside for preventing or treating a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The composition comprising quercetin-3-O-glucoside as an active ingredient according to the present invention causes no side-effects, such as cardiovascular action, central action, liver disorder and kidney disorder, caused by the conventional synthetic pharmaceutical compositions. In addition, the composition according to the present invention reduces the body weight causing a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, inhibits growth of non-alcoholic fatty liver, and effectively reduces total cholesterols, LDL-cholesterols or triglycerides. Further, the composition can effectively inhibit the activities of SREBP-1c, MGAT1 and PPAR-&gamma, and thus is useful for a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and/or treating a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and/or a health-aid food composition for preventing and/or improving a non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017본 발명은 퀘르세틴-3-O-글루코시드(Quercetin-3-O-glucoside)를 포함하는 비알콜성 지방간(nonalcoholic fatty liver disease NAFLD) 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 퀘르세틴-3-O-글루코시드를 유효성분으로 포함하는 조성물은 종래 합성 약제 조성물이 유발하는 심혈관작용, 중추작용, 간장장애 및 신장장애 등 여러 부작용이 없으며, 비알코올성 지방간의 원인이 되는 체중을 감소시키고, 비알콜성 지방간의 성장을 억제할 수 있으며, 총콜레스테롤(Total-cholesterol), LDL-콜레스테롤 또는 트리글리세라이드(Triglyceride)를 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있다. 또한, SREBP-1c, MGAT1, PPAR-γ의 활성을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있으므로, 비알코올성 지방간 예방 및/또는 치료용 약학적 조성물 또는 비알코올성 및/또는 개선용 건강기능성 식품 조성물로 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
