The invention relates to a sterilising product for textile products and to a method for obtaining said product, the product being formed by nanocompounds including nanoparticles of natural or synthetic clay, silver ions (Ag+) and organic modifiers for retaining the silver ions in the clay nanoparticles. The product incorporates as additives expander precursors, binding agents and/or functionalising agents. The production method comprises the steps of: reducing the particle size to less than 30 microns； classifying the particles； obtaining laminar nanoparticles in either liquid suspension or powder, or by means of subsequent drying； mixing the resulting powder with silver ions (Ag+)； adding expander precursors, binding agents and functionalising agents to the laminar structures； and introducing the precursors and agents into the laminar nanoparticles.
