The present invention is a vascular endothelial growth factor binder that inhibits the action of VEGF, for example selected from anti-angiogenic compounds such as monoclonal antibodies or fragments thereof selected from ranibizumab, and pharmaceutically acceptable liposomes. The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical preparation containing a delivery agent. The formulations are useful for the treatment of various angiogenic disorders and diseases in animals and humans, preferably in ophthalmic disorders selected from age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, and corneal neovascularization.
