A method for the cosmetic reduction of subcutaneous fat from a target area ofa body of a human subject, comprises a series of steps. About 10 to about 200ml of the subject's blood is withdrawn, and centrifuged to remove cellularcontent, resulting in a platelet rich plasma fraction. This is followed bysubcutaneously injecting small quantities of the platelet rich fraction intothetarget area having a subcutaneous fat deposit on the subject body.
