The present invention relates to a magnetic resonance imaging system and, more particularly, to a transmitting and receiving RF resonator in a magnetic resonance imaging system. To this end, the magnetic resonance imaging system includes: a plurality of receiving coils (200) positioned in close contact with a body； and a plurality of transmitting coils (100) spaced apart from the body and RF-resonant with the receiving coils (200). The receiving coils (200) include: a strip-shaped first coil part (230) curved between both ends thereof； and a strip-shaped second coil part (250) curved between both ends thereof and spaced apart from the first coil part (230).
