The present invention relates to a cosmetic skin external application comprising a medicinal herb extract as an active ingredient and a method for preparing the same. The cosmetic skin external application is provided as ointment which allows any users requiring improvement of skin diseases or a skin cosmetic effect to use the same conveniently and continuously.
