There are various approaches for avoiding the foreign body response to stent material, including the risk of in-stent restenosis. The present invention proposes to completely integrate a self-expanding stent structure into a living, vessel-cultivated tissue. In the case of arteriosclerotic use of a stent, this also leads to the arteriosclerotic plaque being completely excluded from the blood contact. At the same time, native endothelium on the inside of the stent should be supplemented by functionally active endothelial cells. Other possible uses are considered in addition to the use as a biologized stent structure.
