Devised is a band to recognize a status of a child and an infant which can be attached to an ankle, with the ability to periodically, and on a real-time basis, collect and transmit information including body temperature, pulse, movement, humidity and noise surrounding the child to a telecommunication terminal of a guardian, to monitor the status and an environment of the child. The band includes a child and infant situation recognition module comprising a control part, various sensor parts, an information display part, and a power supply part, and a functional fiber-based band with excellent elasticity and air-permeability to surround the child and infant situation recognition module. The status information of the child and infant and the information with respect to surroundings of the child and infant are transmitted by wireless communication to the telecommunication terminal of the guardian, both on a real-time basis and periodically. Also, when the band is operated by a specific manipulation input by the guardian, the information is immediately transmitted to the telecommunication terminal to notify the guardian.
