PURPOSE: The arrangement of a salt pond is provided to improve the efficiency of an evaporating operation by enlarging the area of a stepped part located at the center part of an evaporating pond. CONSTITUTION: The arrangement of a salt pond includes an evaporating pond and a crystallizing pond. The evaporating pond is divided into multi-stepped parts. The crystallizing pond is divided into multi-stepped parts and is located at the lower stepped part of the evaporating pond. The areas of the stepped parts of the evaporating pond and the crystallizing pond are varied. The area of the crystallizing pond with respect to the area of the evaporating pond is 1/4 to 2/5.본 발명은 염전에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 실제로 증발이 많이 이루어지는 단계인 증발지의 중간 부분에 위치한 단의 면적을 가장 크게 하고 그 양쪽으로 진행하면서 단의 면적이 감소하게 배열함으로써 증발효율을 향상시키고, 그에 따라 증발지 대비 결정지의 면적을 극대화시킬 수 있어 단위면적당 생산량을 증가시킬 수 있는 염전에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 염전은, 다단으로 분할된 증발지와, 상기 증발지의 하단에 위치하여 다단으로 분할된 결정지가 구비된 염전에 있어서, 상기 증발지는 상단에서 하단 사이에 위치한 기준단을 기준으로 기준단의 양측 방향으로 진행할수록 면적이 감소하도록 다단이 배열 형성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
