PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure to help positioning in an anastomosis site in order to support the anastomosis site, and to promote the healing of tissue section.SOLUTION: A deployment cartridge 60 is provided to be used in an anastomosis site. The deployment cartridge includes a hollow pusher 74 and a stent 10 contained within the hollow pusher. This stent is formed as a sheathed wire mesh cage formed on the outside surface. In one embodiment, the outside sheathing includes tissue sealant. In another alternative embodiment, this outside sheathing includes tissue adhesive.
