PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article having a prescribed strength and superior wearing property and operability and having winged flap parts.
SOLUTION: This sanitary napkin 1 is provided with a substantially vertically long absorbent body 10 having a liquid-retaining absorptive layer 11 and a liquid-impermeable leakage-preventing layer 12, and a pair of winged flap parts 6 and 6 extending from the both side edges 10a in the longitudinal direction in the absorbent body 10 each of the pair of winged flap parts 6 and 6 is formed to have a layer structure in the thickness direction from nonwoven fabric, and has a central part M as a part having the number of nonwoven fabric layers more than that of a base part 62 in an outward position of the base part 62 in the width direction in the absorbent body 10 and the central part M and a flap adhesion part 61 formed in a skin non-contact face side are stacked on each other.
