PURPOSE: A water-retaining block composition, a reinforcing block using the same and a construction method of greening structures of buildings are provided to extend water retention period. CONSTITUTION: A water-retaining block(145) composition comprises a water-permeable concrete composition and a water retention mortar composition. The water-permeable concrete composition comprises 5-35 wt% of inorganic binder, 5-35 wt% of fine aggregate, 25-75 wt% of coarse aggregate, 0.1-5 wt% of water and 0.1-15 wt% of polymer based binder. The water retention mortar composition comprises the inorganic binder, 0.1-20 parts by weight of polymer-based binding material, 100-500 parts by weight of fine aggregate, and 0.1-15 parts by weight of water based on 100 parts by weight of the inorganic binder. The polymer-based binder comprises 30-70 wt% of styrene acrylic emulsion, 1-25 wt% of butyl methacrylate, 1-25 weight% of acryl methyl, 1-25 weight% of zinc ammonium chloride.본 발명은, 보수성 블록을 얻기 위한 조성물로서 투수성 콘크리트 조성물과 보수성 모르타르 조성물을 포함하며, 상기 투수성 콘크리트 조성물은 무기질 결합재 5～35중량%, 잔골재 5～35중량%, 굵은골재 25～75중량%, 물 0.1～5중량% 및 폴리머계 결합재 0.1～15중량%를 포함하고, 상기 보수성 모르타르 조성물은 무기질 결합재, 상기 무기질 결합재 100중량부에 대하여 폴리머계 결합재 0.1～20중량부, 상기 무기질 결합재 100중량부에 대하여 잔골재 100～500중량부 및 상기 무기질 결합재 100중량부에 대하여 물 0.1～15중량부를 포함하는 보수성 블록 조성물, 이를 이용한 보수성 블록 및 건물의 녹화구조물 시공 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의하면, 건물을 녹화시킬 수 있고 수분 보충 기간이 연장될 수 있으며 유지 관리가 간편함과 동시에 건물 내부로 우수가 침투하거나 식물의 뿌리가 활착되는 것을 방지하여 건물의 내구 수명을 연장할 수 있다.
