PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purification device capable of sterilizing air and water droplets in an internal space in a gas-liquid contact chamber even at the time of using a large amount of air, and removing dirt on a surface of a filter and saprophyte in the inside.SOLUTION: A filter 9 comprising photocatalyst, and a plasma generator 10 facing a surface 11 of the filter 9 are provided, and thereby, water scattered by a sprinkler nozzle 8 and air passing the filter 9 are sterilized by plasma generated with the plasma generator 10. Furthermore, dirt accumulated on the surface 11 of the filter 9 and saprophyte generated inside the gas-liquid contact filter 9 are removed by photocatalyst comprised in the filter 9, and sterilization effect is increased by plasma generated with the plasma generator 10.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】大風量の使用時においても気液接触室の内部空間の空気や水滴を除菌することができ、かつフィルターの表面の汚れや内部の雑菌を除去することができる空気浄化装置を提供する。【解決手段】光触媒を含むフィルター9と、フィルター9の表面11に対向したプラズマ発生装置10とを設けている。これにより、プラズマ発生装置10が発生したプラズマによって、散水ノズル8が散布した水5及びフィルター9を通過した空気を除菌する。また、フィルター9に含まれる光触媒により、フィルター9の表面11に堆積した汚れ及び気液接触フィルター9の内部で発生した雑菌を除去するとともに、プラズマ発生装置10が発生したプラズマによって除菌効果を高める。【選択図】図1
