A fluid dispensing cartridge (16) includes a housing body (44) having a proximal end wall (46), a distal end wall (50), a fluid chamber (56), and a hollow throat portion (60). The fluid chamber (56) is in fluid communication with the hollow throat portion (60). The proximal end wall (46) provides a proximal termination of the fluid chamber (56) and the distal end wall (50) provides a distal termination of the hollow throat portion (60). A plurality of electrical contacts (68) face proximally from the proximal end wall (46). The fluid dispensing cartridge (16) includes a fluid jetting chip (66) that has a plurality of fluid jetting nozzles (66-1).
