PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height-adjustable vertebral column implant which is improved in resistance to mechanical load.SOLUTION: The height-adjustable implant 100 comprises a first part 101 and a second part 102 which are supported to move relatively in an axial direction along the central longitudinal axial line A so as not to rotate, and the first part 101 and the second part 102 respectively have at least two wall segments 110, 111, 120, and 121 fixed to their respective bottoms 112 and 122 and extending in the central longitudinal axial line A direction, and their respective distances in the radial direction with respect to the central longitudinal axial line A. The two wall segments neighboring to each other in the circumferential direction forms both the sides of a space S, into which the wall segment of another part extends to be guided in the axial direction. A driving element 103 positioned in the inner room IN of the vertebral column implant 100 collaborates with the second parts 102 by a screw gear form and is supported by the first parts 101 in a load direction R to have a teeth ring 401.
