To provide a medical wire which is adapted for a relatively thin tubular tissue.SOLUTION: A medical wire 20 is moved forward and rearward in a tubular catheter 10, in use, a tip 26 of the medical wire 20 is expanded from the catheter 10, thereby restoring from a first shape when it is stored in the catheter 10 to a second shape which is a shape before the tip is stored in the catheter 10, and when the tip is stored again in the catheter 10, the shape of the tip is deformed from the second shape to the first shape, the tip has a shape memory performance.
