The invention relates to a receptacle for plants which, designed to contain the substrate or earth of a plant, is configured on the basis of a hollow body with a variable base shape and open at least in one upper opening, wherein the body is smaller than its internal base such that the centre of gravity of said body is less than half of its height. The internal base of the receptacle is a part that is independent from the body, which is coupled to same by means of a disassemblable joining system and adjusted peripherally in relation to the internal part thereof, said disassembly system permitting the extraction of said internal base when desired and the separation thereof from the body. Said lower base is applicable, by extension, to all types of geometric configurations used in the body of receptacles for plants.
