The present dual-bearing reel is the one for forwardly reeling out a fishing line in a forward direction. The reel unit 1 includes first and second main body parts 1a and 1b disposed such that a first lateral surface 1c and a third lateral surface 1d thereof are opposed to each other at a predetermined interval. The attaching member 81 includes an attaching surface 82 facing a first direction. The first main body part 1a has a recessed portion 1j extended along a first boundary portion 1h that is a boundary portion between the first lateral surface 1c and an attachment-side surface 1f of the first main body part 1a. The attachment-side surface 82 faces the first direction.
