PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level difference eliminating machine capable of reliably keeping a door at the closing position and the opening position without requesting any wide opening/closing space of the door, and preventing any unexpected movement of the door even when a hand is mistakenly detached from the door during the opening/closing operation of the door.SOLUTION: In the level difference eliminating machine, a first gate 22a for coming and going between a low floor surface FL and a platform 20, a second gate 22b for coming and going between a high floor surface FH and the platform 20, and a fence 23 for surrounding other parts than both gates are provided around the platform 20. Stays 12 are erected on the right and left sides of the first gate 22a, and a pair of right and left doors 40 are attached to the respective stays 12 in a horizontally turnable manner.
