PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope greening method using a vegetation base material containing a water retainer, which allows the water retainer to be hardly washed away and allows for a sufficient water-retaining space within the vegetation base so as to stably greening and reinforcing a slope, at no risk of slope collapse even for the slope having a steep slant.SOLUTION: A slope greening method includes spraying a vegetation base material on a slope 9 so as to form a vegetation base 7. A reinforcing bar 8 made of wood material is installed on the slope 9 to form the vegetation base 7. Water-absorptive swelling fiber having of a water absorption amount of 3 to 300 ml/g is preliminarily added to and mixed with vegetation soil. Water-absorptive particles having a water absorption amount of 3 to 300 ml/g and water are added to and mixed with the vegetation soil so as to form the vegetation base material, which is then sprayed on the slope 9.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】保水材が流失しにくく、かつ、植生基盤の内部に保水空間を十分に確保して、法面の緑化と強化を安定して図ることができる、特に、傾斜がきつい法面の場合においても、法面が崩壊するおそれのない、植生基盤保水材を添加した植生基盤材を用いる法面緑化工法を提供すること。【解決手段】植生基盤材を法面9に吹き付けて植生基盤7を形成する法面緑化工法において、植生基盤7を形成する法面9に木質系の材料からなる筋工8を施した後、予め吸水量が3~300ml/gの吸水膨潤性繊維を添加、混合した植生土壌材に、吸水量が3~300ml/gの吸水性粒子及び水を添加、混合してなる植生基盤材を、法面9に吹き付ける。【選択図】図1
