PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preserving and mixing device for preserving and mixing liquid and solid components, particularly a device for mixing and preserving a monomer solution and powder for generating bone cement.SOLUTION: The device includes two chambers, and a first chamber of them contains a solid component and is separated from a second chamber containing a liquid component by an openable separation part. A mixer drivable by a pressure difference is arranged in the first chamber. In the preserving and mixing system, vacuum usable in an operating room is used for mixing the monomer solution and bone cement powder and operate the mixer simultaneously in the vacuum.
