PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance weight for a tractor capable of sufficiently improving front and rear weight balance of a machine body when it is mounted to a front end part of the machine body and having an outstandingly small offset to a front side of the machine body.SOLUTION: The balance weight for the tractor includes: a body part 11 and an engagement part 12 formed on an upper part of the body part 11 and engaged with an upper part of a front surface part of a balance weight mounting part 20 from above. The balance weight is constituted such that an attitude is maintained by abutting it on the front surface part of the balance weight mounting part 20 in the state that the engagement part 12 is engaged with the upper part of the front surface part of the balance weight mounting part 20. The balance weight includes an extension part 14 downwardly extending from an end part of a front surface part side of the balance weight mounting part 20 on a bottom surface 16 of the body part 11 in the state that the engagement part 12 is engaged with the upper part of the front surface part of the balance weight mounting part 20 and a connection hole part 15 directed in a machine body longitudinal direction on the extension part 14.
