PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising seedling/cultivation method through quantitative water supply comprising setting the amount of residual water after water supply with submerged water into a prescribed amount regardless of change in properties such as absorption of culture media and water retention so as to prevent spindly growth of plant bodies caused by an excessive amount of supplied water to obtain equalized nature and growth of the plant bodies.SOLUTION: The raising seedling/cultivation method through quantitative water supply comprises making a water-supply container 3 housing a pot 1 in which a plant body B is planted so as to be taken in and out, have a prescribed capacity, putting a prescribed amount of water-supply liquid C in the water-supply container 3, inserting the seedling-planted pot 1 in the water-supply container 3, discharging surplus water-supply liquid C through soaking the pot 1 in the prescribed amount of the water-supply liquid C, and supplying the remaining amount of water-supply liquid to the plant bodies so as to equalize the growth of the plant body B.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】培地の吸水性、保水性の特性の変化にかかわらず、湛水による潅水後の残留水の量を一定量に設定し、過剰な潅水量による植物体の徒長発生を防ぎ、植物体の均一な性状及び生育が得られる定量潅水による育苗・栽培方法を提供する。【解決手段】植物体Bを植え込んだポット1を出し入れ可能に納める潅水容器3を予め設定された容量とし、この潅水容器3に定量の潅水用液体Cを入れ、この潅水容器3内に苗を植え込んだポット1を挿入し、定量の潅水用液体Cに浸すことによって余剰の潅水用液体Cを排水し、残った定量の潅水用液体で潅水することによって植物体Bの生長を均一化する。【選択図】図1
