The invention relates to a perforating trocar device and is particularly intended for use in surgery and interventional radiology. The device comprises an outer sheath (5) comprising a rigid tube (8) and a mandrel (6) comprising a rod (18). The rod (18) is adapted to slide in the outer sheath (5) and has at its distal end a piercing tip (21, 33). The shaft (18) further includes a longitudinal recess (20,34) extending from the distal end to the proximal end of the shaft (18) to permit sliding of the device on a guide pin.
