Pasty composition comprises particles of at least one calcium salt. The particles of calcium salt are partially coated with at least one saturated fatty acid ester (a) having a melting temperature of 45[deg] C and are mixed to at least one saturated fatty acid ester (b) having a melting temperature of less than 25[deg] C to form a pasty composition. An independent claim is included for preparing a pasty composition comprising (i) providing particles of calcium salt, (ii) partially coating the particles of the calcium salt with the saturated fatty acid ester (a) and (iii) mixing the coated particles with the saturated fatty acid ester (b) to form the pasty composition.
