More specifically, the invention relates to (R) -1,2-propanediol for cooling agents, for example (R) -2-[((1 R , 2 S , 5 R ) -2-isopropyl-5-methyl -Cyclohexanecarbonyl) -amino] -propionic acid n- propyl ester (CPS-410) containing solvent. The present invention also relates to a cooling agent and a (R) -1,2-propanediol-containing cooling agent composition, and a process for preparing the same. The present invention also relates to the use of said cooling agent composition in the treatment, for example of feeling uncomfortable, in particular in the treatment of uncomfortable feeling of the skin (eg itching).
