PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type absorbent article in which the shape stability of an absorbent body is improved when attached, and excrement can be efficiently prevented from leaking.SOLUTION: This diaper 1 includes an abdomen side portion A, a back side portion B and a crotch portion C, and includes an absorbent body 3 including an exterior 2 and an absorber 31. The absorber 31 has a center absorber 311, a pair of side absorbers 312 and a separating portion 313 between the center absorber 311 and the side absorbers 312. The exterior 2 and the absorbent body 3 are fixed at a pair of vertical fixing bonding portion 51 on the crotch portion C. The pair of the vertical fixing bonding portion 51 is disposed at a position corresponding to the separating portion 313, and in cross sectional view, they are superimposed on a side edge portion 311d of the center absorber 311 and a lateral inner side edge portion 312d of the side absorber 312.
