PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which prevents twisting and liquid leakage by being attached stably to various underclothes with various crotch widths.
SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 comprises a longitudinal absorbent unit 5 having a front sheet 2 forming a skin abutting face, a rear sheet 3 forming a non-skin abutting face and an absorbent body 4 interposed between the sheets 2 and 3, and a pair of side flaps 6 and 6 that are arranged on the both longitudinal sides of the absorbent unit 5. A first adhesion part 7 for attaching the absorbent unit 5 to clothing is arranged on a region of non-skin abutting surface side of the rear sheet 3 where the absorbent body 4 is arranged. Both side edges 6a and 6a of the pair of side flaps 6 and 6 extend longitudinally along the absorbent unit 5 and are straight and parallel with each other. Each of the pair of side flaps 6 and 6 has a front part 6A, a center part 6B and a rear part 6C in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent unit 5, and a second adhesion part 8 for attaching the side flap 6 to the clothing is arranged on the non-skin abutting surface side of the center part 6B.
