PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which has a plate-shaped frame increasing at least one of width and thickness thereof from a top to a grip and has excellent strength.SOLUTION: A fishing rod 100 includes: a plate-shaped frame 110 which is formed of β titanium and increases its width from a front end 110T to a rear end 110G and a plurality of fishing line guides 120a-120g arranged on one surface of the frame 110 along an extension direction of the frame 110 at intervals from each other.
