PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of blood vessel extraction in the case of obtaining the diameters of an artery and a vein by image analysis of an eyeground image.SOLUTION: An eyeground image analysis system which extracts a blood vessel area from an eyeground image comprises: blood vessel area determination means which determines pixels corresponding to the blood vessel area in the eyeground image and pixel value change means which changes the pixel values of the pixels corresponding to the blood vessel area in the pixels constituting the eyeground image.
