The present application provides a patients calling system run in an electronic device which installed a sensor. The system includes a plurality of function modules which set conditions of a call. The modules detect physiological index of a patient through the sensor, and determine whether they meet the conditions of the call according to the physiological index of the patient. When they meet the conditions of the call, the modules call a nursing station in a preset way.
