PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that improves bendability, air permeability, and texture.SOLUTION: A diaper 1 includes a front-side sheet 2, a back-side sheet 3, and a longitudinally-long absorber 4 arranged between both the sheets 2 and 3. In the front-side sheet 2, a skin-facing-surface side thereof structurally has corrugation, and a non-skin-facing-surface side is flat. The absorber 4 has an absorbent core 41 and a coating material 42 encasing it. The absorbent core 41 has heavy basis weight parts 43 and light basis weight parts 44 adjacent to them. The heavy basis weight parts 43 and the light basis weight parts 44 are integrally molded. The skin-facing-surface side of the absorbent core 41 is flat, and the non-skin-facing-surface side thereof is structurally uneven.
