PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera that facilitates adjustment of illumination light quantity and focusing even if brightness of the fundus of the eye is different for each optometry.SOLUTION: For a fundus camera, there are included: an illumination means for illuminating the fundus oculi in optometry a photometry means for measuring reflection light from the fundus oculi part under the illumination by the illumination means an illumination light quantity control means for controlling the light quantity of the illumination means a focus detection range determination means for determining a focus detection range relative to a fundus image picked up by an imaging means and a focus detection means for detecting a focus position in a range determined by the focus detection range determination means.
