PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment and an ultrasonic probe capable of easily acquiring a cross-sectional image of the same imaging position as in a previous examination even if an engineer who performs this examination is different from the engineer of the previous examination when the follow-up is performed.SOLUTION: An image storage part stores a past cross-sectional image acquired from a subject in association with positional information of an ultrasonic probe with the initial position at the time when the cross-sectional image is acquired as a reference. A calculation part calculates a direction in which the subject is scanned by the ultrasonic probe, and an orientation and inclination of the ultrasonic probe based on the positional information of the ultrasonic probe associated with the past cross-sectional image and the positional information of the present ultrasonic probe.
