PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain food and drink by subjecting each of them to a high-quality heating treatment as a heating object.SOLUTION: This heating device uses food/drink having fluidity as a heating object and heats the heating object by Joule heat. A passage 18 for running the heating object therethrough is formed in a heating machine body 10, electrodes 11 and 12 are exposed in the passage 18 by forming a pair, and a current is supplied to the electrodes 11 and 12 from a power unit 31. The current value thereof is controlled by a control signal transmitted from a current control part 41 to the power unit 31 to be set at a set current value based on a detection signal from a product temperature sensor 44 sensing the temperature of the heating object heated by carrying the current, and the value of the current flowing to the electrodes 11 and 12.
