PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air sterilizing device which can sterilize/deodorize air by using a proper kind of active oxygen species depending on the kind of viruses and so forth to be sterilized, allergens, and an odorant to be deodorized.
SOLUTION: This air sterilizing device 1 is equipped with a cabinet 2 which is equipped with a suction port 3 and a blow-out port 4 for air, a gas-liquid contact member 5 which is arranged in the cabinet, an electrolytic water feeding means 31, and an air blowing fan 7. In this case, the electrolytic water feeding means 31 selectively switches the kind of an active oxygen species which is made to be contained in the electrolytic water from among a plurality of active oxygen species, and feeds the electrolytic water containing the active oxygen species for making the gas-liquid contact member impregnated with the electrolytic water. The air blowing fan 7 brings indoor air which is sucked in from the suction port 3 into contact with the electrolytic water containing the active oxygen species which is made to permeate the gas-liquid contact member 5, and blows out the indoor air from the blow-out port 4.
