PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an approach notification device which allows a pedestrian to confirm a vehicle or the like approaching from the back being a dead angle of the pedestrian and can secure high safety of the pedestrian.SOLUTION: An approach notification device 1 includes: an approach situation detection part 2 which can detect an approach situation of a traveling vehicle or the like approaching from the back of a pedestrian and an approach situation notification part 7 which can notify the pedestrian of the approach situation by appealing to at least one of the visual sense, acoustic sense and tactile sense of the pedestrian.
