The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a cured product having high fracture energy. Provided is a curable composition comprising organic inorganic composite particles (A) a polymerizable monomer (B) a polymerization initiator (C) and inorganic particles (D). A cured body formed by curing the curable composition comprises: a matrix formed by curing all the components other than the organic inorganic composite particles (A) among the components constituting the curable composition and the organic inorganic composite particles (A) dispersed within the cured body. The modulus of elasticity M of the matrix is at least 3.0 GPa greater than the modulus of elasticity P of the organic inorganic composite particles (A). Also provided are a dental restorative material using the curable composition and organic inorganic composite particles for dental use that are used in the dental restorative material.
