PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which images a broad region by imaging several times while shifting imaging positions, a method of making an imaging plan for this magnetic resonance imaging apparatus to make an imaging plan, and a method of imaging with the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, those which enable an imaging plan to be made easily.

SOLUTION: A control part 107 specifies a plurality of regions of interest on a plurality of original images acquired by imaging several times while shifting imaging positions, obtains an approximate line involved in a plurality of regions of interest on an image formed by combining the original images, and determines conditions required to image cross sections crossing the original images on the basis of the approximate line.
