PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester, capable of neatly gathering and guiding a set reaping number or more of grain stems in a stable position and surely raising them.SOLUTION: In a lower portion of raising devices (15L, 15R), rasing lugs (29) having a downward projecting position are laterally moved toward the lower end of the raising path (Y2) to form a gathering path (Y1) of a predetermined width for gathering the roots of grain stems. The gathering path (Y1) is formed by winding an endless chain (30) having a plurality of raising lugs (29) attached to lateral guide rollers (28a, 28b) disposed with a predetermined space.
